Our Senior Programme
Our Senior Youth Theatre participants develop acting and performance skills through a series of skill-based workshops. They will then use these skills to work towards a performance. We create a space where participants can develop, challenge and find out more about themselves.
Our Senior Youth Theatre will devise and produce high quality performances to challenge and entertain audiences. Our approach to creating theatre is playful and exploratory - we believe this creates high quality work that participants will be proud of.
We offer our participants a variety of opportunities to engage with extra activities including trips, young ensemble projects and masterclasses. These opportunities enable young people to develop creative and social skills.
Matthew Swan is the Senior Youth Theatre Workshop Leader. He graduated in 2018 from Queen Margaret University with an honours degree in Drama and Performance. He was one of the co-founders of the company in 2015 and is artistic director of the company.
Kyle McRoberts is one of our Workshop Assistants. He has a HND in Acting and Performance from New College Lanarkshire. Kyle was one of the co-founders of the Regal Youth Company and has been with us since the start. His experience in youth theatre and performance is a credit to the company.
